Peter Sadler Junior – Managing Director
With the assistance of his father, Peter Sadler Jnr built this company from the ground up. One 4- tonne furniture truck in 1997 is now over 60 vehicles and over 90 highly trained and professional personnel. What was his secret? A passion for people! Although not formally educated, Peter intuitively took the highly educated philosophy that if you get the right people on the bus, the strategy will fall into place. Like all founders of a business he is also a bit crazy – you will know if you meet him.

Peter Sadler Senior – Director and Morning Shift Guru
If you were to look up the definition of ‘worker’ in the dictionary, there should be a photo of this man. Approaching 60 years of age, Senior, as he is known around the company, is a real morning person. He rises to at 3am and ventures down the warehouse to undertake his daily ritual of greeting the morning fleet, putting on a big breakfast for the guys and making sure they are ready to put CUSTOMERS FIRST.
Is retirement on the horizon? He would not know what to do with himself! He talks about it, but we all know he will be doing this into his 70’s.

Gary Hunt – General Manager
Stories scarcely get more inspirational than Gary Hunt. Only 5 and a bit years ago, Gary came off the street looking for a job driving a van. He quickly showed his unique work ethic and ability to ‘get the job done’ with a minimum of fuss and a high degree of professionalism. Now General Manager, Gary is a testament to the Peter Sadler Transport “our people, our advantage” philosophy and Peter Junior’s approach to rewarding those who are willing to show loyalty and a drive for success.

David Sadler – Director and Business Development Coordinator
David put himself through his schooling and University by driving a truck for the business. He famously used to do 30 drops in a 14 pallet truck and then park it in the loading zone out front of the University lecture theatre. His schooling led him to a 2 year Graduate program at a large corporation, however, the desire to build something with his family never left him. Consequently David returned to the business in November 2007. Although the step up to 70 hour weeks has been a steep learning curve, David’s knowledge of big business is helping Peter Sadler Transport take the next step.
